Happy New Year!
Railroaders’ comments and suggestions continue to play an important role in Hoey & Farina’s representation of injured railroaders as their FELA attorneys / train accident lawyers.
In 2006, we surveyed railroad employees regarding their rights if injured on the job, railroad safety conditions and how railroads dealt with their injured employees.
The Straight Track’n survey showed that while 50% of railroaders felt the railroads did not discourage reporting of unsafe conditions or defective equipment, 75% of railroaders believed the railroads discouraged reporting of on-duty injuries.
A decade has passed since that survey. Have safety conditions improved? Do railroads now treat their employees fairly regarding their rights when injured on-duty?
Let’s find out. Please take a few minutes to complete this 2016 Straight Track’n survey. The more responses Hoey & Farina receives, the better the information flow back to you. We encourage you to forward this newsletter and survey to railroaders you know so they can participate as well.
We will tabulate the responses as they are received and provide the full results to both surveys at in a few months in our Straight Track newsletter and on Facebook.
Thank you for your anticipated participation!
